… and after 3 no bake cookies recipes, another summer recipe, but this time salty: An easy and fragrant rice salad. How long does it takes to prepare it, depends on cooking time of Venus rice. On the market you can find many kind of Venus rice the pre-cooked ones that you cook in 15 – 20 minutes, or the natural ones that require much longer cooking. They are all good anyway, and certainly are of great scenographic effect: the black of the beans brings out the red of the tomatoes and the white of the feta.
Well at this point I dont’t know what else I could say except let’s prepapre it!
I prepared it for 6 people: all very hungry!
- 500 g of Venere rice;
- 500 gr of small tomatoes;
- 350 gr of feta cheese;
- 5 or 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil;
- About 70 grams of aromatic herbs: chives, sage, basil and thyme;
- 15 gr of pine nuts;
- 3 walnuts;
